Forever Changed

by ~Aunt Mae (~Mrs. R) on February 20, 2013

To my faithful readers, you may have wondered about my lack of posting this last bit of time.  I have the saddest news I could think of that I need to tell you.

On February 5, 2013 my beloved husband died quite suddenly and very unexpectedly.

When I can I will come back and tell the story… of our meeting… of our love… of our life together… of his death… of the way the Lord has shown Himself faithful to this widow and her young son.

I miss him so much.

Should you feel so inclined, you can read a bit about him on a FB page friends have made to help us.  Not only have I lost the love of my life, but I am now in serious financial straits.

Dear Charlotte,
Thank you so very much. Yes, it was a complete shock. He was not ill, and we would have considered him quite healthy. He looked good (well I always though so!!) but even a friend had commented in early December how much younger he looked and relaxed and that he looked great! He was supremely embarrassed, he hated to be the center of attention but beamed a great smile in spite of himself.

Truly, man knows not his time.
Prayers are greatly needed, I still have much to deal with. No life insurance, no retirement income after his death, nothing. It will be a miracle that I would be allowed to remain in the house for any length of time. So many decisions and he’s not here any longer to discuss them with. Oyi. Prayers are essential! Thank you for praying!!

Oh sweet sister..
First time clicked to your site..and I believe it was so I could lift you to the Father in prayer. I will do that right now. Praying you find some rest and comfort in the Father’s arms.

Thank you so much Jill. I have enjoyed getting to know you as well. When the Lord said he came to give life *abundantly*… He wasn’t kidding. Sometimes those valleys can seem kind of steep and quite low.

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5b

Your prayers are greatly appreciated!!

Continues prayer is greatly appreciated… I still have *much* to deal with… all without any financial resources of any kind.
