Names are such interesting things. Take the name “electric car”. It conjures up images of sunny blue skies, fluffy white clouds, green, green grass and lovely trees lining the clean, neat, tidy and unpolluted streets these zippy little numbers drive along.
Ah, but you need to go a little further behind the name to see what “it” is in actuality. It has four wheels, a couple of seats, a steering wheel, a hood and trunk (or a bonnet if your on the other side of the Atlantic). That makes it a car. So far so good.
Electric, a car that is powered by electricity. Just plug her in, let her charge and your good to go. For a short distance anyway. But I want to go further back than this. How is the majority of our electricity generated here in America?
In the chart above from 2006, coal powered electric generating facilities are clearly the largest percentage of all the electric generating options in use here in America. The percentage of coal power plants is actually higher than this now.

There is no way I can possibly begin to address all the lies told in this u-tube clip. We produce more, much more than 2 – 3 percent of the world’s oil and we are ‘sitting’ on much more but are not allowed to drill for this oil.
Oh, and to the man with 10 children I say, “May the Lord bless you!” Congratulations on your medium sized family. No, really you are only a medium sized family. If the Duggars have 19 (or is that up to 20 now?)that makes them a large family! You are a rich man and richly blessed.
The Lord tells us that children are a blessing and our inheritance.
To the President ~ I am sorry that you consider it proper to mock a man who has many children. His family size is not your business. If you were busy minding your own business and what you should be minding in regards to the country you wouldn’t have time to be minding our business. Please understand that you are ultimately not mocking this man, but are mocking the Lord God Almighty. The God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. The God of Creation and the Author of Salvation. That is a very dangerous position to place yourself in. I will be praying for you.
